Hotel Habib Towers a newborn baby in the field of hospitality, opened on 20-12-2009. It’s situated very near to Darasuram Iravadeeswarar Temple (UNESCO Monument) it is also at a distance of 30kms from Gangaikonda cholapuram Raja Rajan Temple & Tanjore Brahadeeswarar temple.
Our Hotel has 27 well furnished, spacious and Air conditioned rooms that already under operation and also we are very happy to say that we are coming up with more 22 rooms to make it a 49 room property, all styled in western culture. Every specious bathroom has got a bathtub attached to it. The interiors spacious air conditioned double Rooms gives you perfect convince to relax. A lot of work goes into more innovative activities to make the stay more than pleasurable a memorable one. About Kumbakonam:
Kumbakonam is one of the oldest towns in Tamilnadu and it’s famous for its Mahamaham Festival. In the 7th century, it was the capital of chola kings. kumbakonam is located among the two rivers Cavery & Arasalar. The town is famous for brass, vessels, betel leaves. It is primarily a market town for the predominantly agriculture based villages surroundings it.
Mahamaham Tank:
Mahamaham is a Hindu Kumb Mela festival celebrated every 12 years in a small temple-town called Kumbakonam in Tamil Nadu, India. Hindus consider taking a holy dip at the Mahamaham tank on the day of Mahamaham as sacred. The last Mahamaham was celebrated on March 6, 2004, with people from various places taking the holy dip in the Mahamaham tank.
